Hands #130-134: Straight for Engel

Nvel 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #130: Ari Engel raised to 250,000 on the button with the {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Tony Dunst called from the big blind with the {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The flop was {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Dunst check-called a bet of 300,000 from Engel, who had flopped a queen-high straight.

The turn was the {A-Hearts}, and Dunst checked. Engel bet 750,000, and Dunst folded.

Hand #131: Dunst made it 250,000 to go on the button with the {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Engel called with the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and the flop came out {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Engel checked, Dunst bet 225,000, and Engel called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} to give Engel a flush and improve Dunst to a better two pair. Both players checked, and the river completed the board with the {2-Clubs}. Again, both players checked, and Engel won the pot.

Hand #132: On the button, Engel raised to 250,000 with the {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and Dunst called with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} to see the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. Both checked, and then Dunst fired 350,000 on the {10-Hearts} turn. Engel folded.

Hand #133: Dunst gave Engel a walk.

Hand #134: Engel made it 250,000 to go from the button with the {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and Dunst folded the {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} from the big blind.

Hand #120: Ari Engel on the button with {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} raised to 250,000. Tony Dunst folded his {10-Spades}{4-Hearts} instantly.

Hand #121: {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for Dunst on the button and he made it 250,000, Engel called with the {6-Spades}{3-Spades}. The {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop connected with Engel's hand more than Dunst's, and he check raised the 250,000 bet to 675,000. Dunst folded.

Hand #122: Engel with {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} on the button made it 250,000. Dunst found a real hand with {A-Spades}{7-Spades} and called. Two pretty strojg hands to the flop of {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Dunst checked. Engel checked behind.

The {8-Hearts} on the turn did something for both and Dunst bet 350,000 into the 500,000 pot with his open ended, flush draw and over card. Engel, now with top pair, made the call.

The {4-Spades} on the river made Dunst both his straight and flush, and he bet a massive 1 million into the 1.2 million pot. Engel thought about it a good 5 minutes bit before he eventually called.

Back to even for these two gentlemen playing for that AU$1.6 million first place prize.

Hand #123: We missed this hand because of a segment with Samantha Abernathy.

Hand #124: We missed the beginning of the hand because of the segment with Abernathy. Engel raised the button and Dunst called, but check folded to Engel's aggression on {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

Hand #125: Dunst on the button made it 250,000 with {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Engel called with {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and both players checked. The {2-Hearts} hit the turn and Engel with his flopped pair and open ended straight draw bet 265,000 into the 500,000 pot. Dunst made the call with his flopped pair and gutshot.

The {J-Spades} hit the river and Engel bet 425,000 into the 1 million pot. Dunst called instantly and took down the pot.

Engel, having flopped trips, made the call to grow the pot to 1.1 million.
