It's time for the final day of play in EPT Online 12: $1,050 NLHE [6-Max]. On yesterday's Day 1, a starting field of 733 entries built a prize pool of $733,000, more than $200K over the guarantee. When the dust settled on Day 1, there were still 44 players sitting with chips in front of them.
Those 44 players return today to finish it off on Day 2. A total of 95 players got paid in this one, so some of the players who busted near the end of last night walked away with money in hand, including Paul "Fold Machiii" Dando, Peter "twirlpro" Turmezy, Pedro "NutsInMacad" Ivars, and Toby "sadface11" Joyce.
Leading the way into Day 2 is Japanese player "shiromeneko" with a whopping stack of nearly 5.5 million. Their next closest competitor is "texaspl" from Poland, but they are playing a bit more than 3.7 million. PokerStars ambassador Kalidou "KalidouSow" Sow also bagged a nice stack on Day 1, and will bring more than 2 million chips to Day 2 as the 9th place stack to start the day.

Sow's online teammate Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis also made the Day 2 cut. He spent a good portion of the latter part of Day 1 in the top ten, with Sow farther down the list, but at the end of the day, the two switched positions. Veldhuis still brings more than 1 million chips to Day 2 though, which gives him more than 40 bigs to work with.
Action on Day 2 kicks off at 1:05 p.m. eastern time with blinds at 12.5K/25K/3.25K for a few minutes, before they move to 15K/30K/3.75K. Blinds change every 20 minutes to start the day, but levels will switch to 30 minutes at Level 34. PokerNews will be on the virtual floor bringing you the action until a champion is crowned later today.
