The 2021 GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week saw another tournament come to a conclusion in Event #17: $10,300 High Roller and it was a very familiar name that would end up taking the title today. Rui Ferreira adds another win to his resume tonight for $268,974 after agreeing to a heads-up deal with Andras Nemeth who won $283,086 as he held the chip lead during the brief deal discussion.
The tournament attracted 87 unique players during the five hours of late registration with 51 reentries to get to 138 entries. This created a total prize pool of $1,038,000 which easily surpassed the original guarantee.
With this win, Ferreira has won $3,648,035 on just GGpoker alone but occupies a spot in the top five of the online poker rankings on PocketFives. He has also collected $1,227,895 in live tournament cashed according to The Hendon Mob. Ferreira's name can always be found in the big tournament series and seems to make many deep runs.
Nemeth has almost $3.5 million in cashes in the live poker scenes where he's a regular in the High Roller scene and it's no different in the online streets with $4,690,163 in cashes on just GGPoker. Other familiar names to make the final table included Shawn Daniels, Wiktor Malinowski, Joao Vieira, Wei Zhao, and Jorma Nuutinen.

Chaos From the Start
The tournament kicked off with 19 entries in the field but more and more players joined those early birds quite quickly. Sam Greenwood would become the first player needing to reenter when he was he lost his whole stack with the nut-flush to Daniel Dvoress who held the rockets for the turned full house on the trey-nine-trey-trey-four board.
Unfortunately for him, he'd use a few more bullets without cashing. And he wasn't the only player who would do this. David Coleman would use five of them without hitting. Artur Martirosian, Stephen Chidwick, Isaac Haxton, and Greenwood all busted on their fourth bullet. Nick Petrangelo, Bert Stevens, Matthias Eibinger, Arsenii Malinov, David Peters, and Joakim Andersson all fired three bullets and failed to make it into the money.
According to the fairly new GGPoker "Estimated Duration" feature in the tournament lobby, the tournament would take 6 hours and 17 minutes to finish. Instead, it would take that amount of time to get close to the bubble as 20 players would get paid. George Wolff would run into the ace of Malinowski for hand-for-hand play to start with two more needing to bust before the bubble burst.
Juan Pardo Dominguez would soft bubble the event when his ace-jack couldn't beat the jacks of Vieira. Pablo Brito Silva doubled through Mikita Badziakouski and the other way around while on the other table, Ferreira doubled through "DogeCoin2damoon" before Pavlo Kolinkovskiy would bubble when he ran his pocket queens into the ace-nine of Samuel Vousden who flopped top pair.
It would take an hour after the bubble burst to get to the final table. Rui "OlliOctavius" Sousa would be the first player to cash and he was followed by Isaac Baron, Blake "Beast2018!" Bohn, Badziakouski, Kyle Menard, "dropemtk", Brito Silva, Marius Gierse, Vousden, and Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov to get to the final table bubble.
Kevin Pu would end up in tenth place when he jammed with queen-ten and was looked up by Nuutinen who held ace-eight. Pu hit two pair on the queen-ten-nine flop but Nuutinen picked up the gutshot to a straight. The king on the turn didn't change things but the jack on the river meant it was time for the final table.
It would take over an hour before "DogeCoin2damoon" would be the first to go thanks to Ferreira and five minutes later Nuutinen was eliminated by Daniels in eighth place. Zhao was next to go when he check-called on all streets for his tournament life with aces on the deuce-deuce-trey-ten-ten board. Nemeth who had put him under pressure held ace-ten for the runner-runner full house which was even more remarkable as Ferreira had the other ten.
Vieira fell in sixth place with ace-king to the jacks of Malinowski with the latter leaving the final table when he rivered a flush on the trey-trey-nine-deuce-ace board. Ferreira held aces to a full house to get the tournament down to four players. He then also took out Daniels who held pocket tens. Ferreira's ace-queen found another ace on the flop and on the river to secure another elimination to his name.
Ferreira kept increasing his chip lead before losing it by doubling Nemeth up when he three-bet shoved with queen-jack. Nemeth had found aces and flopped the set to end up at the top of the counts. Five minutes later, "hashtag_fold" would bust in third place when they called for their tournament life with their last 3.5 big blinds with ten-trey. Nemeth's five-four turned the higher pair than "hashtag_fold" had flopped to get to heads-up.
Nemeth and Ferreira instantly discussed a deal and snap-agreed before flipping for the title. It would take five hands of back and forth doubles to eventually hand the title to Ferreira who held jack-deuce in the final hand. Nemeth's nine-deuce didn't find anything on the six-queen-five-ten-four board to connect with to extend the battle.
