After three days of playing, Rinat "Zapahzamazki" Lyapin topped a 1,971-player field to win WCOOP-02-H: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Sunday Slam] for $175,586 total. Lyapin defeated Brazilian Eduardo "Eduardo850" Silva heads-up, who received $140,300 for his efforts.
Lyapin and Silva made a three-way deal with "JEIK0" who's playing from Panama. "JEIK0" received $123,048 total to become the third player with a six-figure score in this tournament. The total prize pool was the guaranteed $2,000,000, leaving a slight overlay to the benefit of the players.
The Russian has over $70,000 in lifetime winnings on his Hendon Mob profile, with his two most recent cashes already dating over five years ago from the 2016 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Under his "Zapahzamazki" moniker, the Russian has been tearing it up as he also racked up two additional five-figure cashes (both in PLO8) just in the past days alone.
Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski finished in fourth place for $76,975, while big names like Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen, Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker, and Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves missed out on the final table.

16 out of 1,971 players returned for the final day, with the aforementioned big names falling by the wayside early. The final table started without a clear chip leader, with Silva, "JEIK0", and Andy "BowieEffect" Wilson close to each other at the top. Silva tumbled down after a bad start before Rasmus "Powergolf" Zerr and Alex "AlexGelinski" Gelinski busted in close succession, both losing to ace-five suited.
The rest of the final table was a swingy affair, with each of the remaining seeing both the highs and lows of the leaderboard.
Dzivielevski, the biggest notable at the final table, then won a massive race with ace-king against Wilson's queens to bust the latter in seventh. The Brazilian swung back after losing a race with eights to "JEIK0"'s ace-jack, handing his lesser experienced opponent the lead.
Both Dutchmen at the final table, "Killer_ooooo" and "Darwinsfish" were next to depart. For "Darwinsfish", it was a brutal ending as he had taken the chip leader mantle off "JEIK0" just shortly before. With blinds moving up, "Darwinshfish" open-shoved with the ace-nine and "JEIK0" picked up ace-queen. The Dutchy flopped a straight flush draw but suffered a case of the too-many-outs syndrome as bricks on the turn and river relegated him to about ten big blinds. Those went in unsuccessfully against Lyapin after to leave the final four.
Dzivielevski held the short stack at that point and lost calling a blind-on-blind shove with queen-eight to lose against Silva's ace-five. The three remaining players made a deal that left each of them at least $100,000 richer. With the blinds continuing to escalate, play entered shallow territory and after hot-potatoeing the lead around, it was Silva who eliminated "JEIK0" with a full house to start the heads-up.
Lyapin started the heads-up behind in chips but doubled with a rivered two pair before the final chips went in the middle. Silva, opting for a stone bluff with jack-high, got caught by Lyapin as the latter wasn't folding top pair. With that, the Russian won the tournament and added the big PKO bounty of $68,516 to the deal prize for a total of $175,586 and a WCOOP title.
