After more than four hours of play on the final table, "seboraptor" has taken down the 2021 PokerStars SCOOP-33-M: $530 NLHE [8-Max, Sunday Million SE] for $265,896 after agreeing to a heads-up deal with Bruno "brunoporto12" Porto. The tournament attracted 3,033 unique players who reentered 1,185 times to create a total prize pool of $2,109,000.

"seboraptor" came into the day in second place but grabbed the chip lead away from Pablo "elmelogno4" Melogno once there were eight players left. They never looked back since then, only wavering for a minute or so when Porto took over the chip lead when they were heads-up, but they quickly took it back to then close it out shortly after. This is the first SCOOP title for the Polish player and looks to be the biggest score in their online tournament career.

Final Table Action

William "WilliamI666" Barbosa was first to bust shortly after the first break when he ran his ace-king into the ace-ten of Porto. The ten on the turn meant the end of the road for the first of the three Brazilians at this final table. Ukraine's "M4GPI3" was next to go when they three-bet shoved with king-jack and got looked up by Melogno who held ace-jack. Lucas "Rochinha2011" Rocha then busted in seventh place when he got all his chips in with ace-queen to see him run them into the aces of "tzuzteutezu".

"brille-390" had been pretty short for a while and was probably happy to be able to pick up some pay jumps before losing all their chips to Porto. "brille-390" held king-eight while Porto rivered the straight on the river with the king-queen in his hand. Day 2 chip leader, Melogno was eliminated in fourth place after some loose plays and wrong calls before finally handing over the remainder of his stack to "seboraptor" who held aces to the ace-queen of Melogno.

Pablo Melogno
Pablo Melogno finished in fifth place for $75,294

By the time the second break came around, "seboraptor" had more than 50% of all the chips in play. Most of the hands were raises and folds but Porto managed to double up with pocket eights against the aces of "GamadGADOL" as he turned the straight. Four-handed play lasted 75 minutes with "tzuzteutezu" pulling the short straw when they found ace-nine but were up against the ace-king of "seboraptor".

Deal or No Deal

The three remaining players tried to agree upon a deal twice and but couldn't as "seboraptor" wanted more than the ICM numbers gave them. Several double-ups later, "GamadGADOL" had turned two pair on the four-eight-four-ten board with ace-ten but when they bet-called the shove of Porto, they saw that Porto had flopped trips with the jack-four in his hand. The river didn't change things for the tournament to go to heads-up.

"seboraptor" and Porto both quickly decided to look at the numbers again before agreeing to a deal with the Polish player holding the chip lead. They instantly agreed and had another $12,500 left to play for. Heads-up play lasted around 40 minutes in which Porto managed to get the stacks back to even, even grabbing the chip lead for a short while when they shoved on the four-eight-king-five-jack board and didn't get called.

But "seboraptor" didn't sit back, they kept the pressure on and dealt the final blow when their ace-four shove got called by Porto who had found pocket tens. "seboraptor" turned top pair and improved to a wheel on the river to score the biggest SCOOP prize of 2021 up till now.
