Hand #241: Pius Heinz

Nvel 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button, and he raised to 3.5 million. Pius Heinz wanted to play for more, though, and he reraised to 10.2 million. Staszko flatted, and there was 20.8 million in the pot as the dealer spread out the flop.

It came {6-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {2-Spades}, and Heinz paused and checked. Staszko checked back a little quicker, and the {Q-Hearts} came on fourth street. Heinz spent even longer pondering now, but after close to a minute, he checked again. Staszko checked again.

The {Q-Diamonds} paired the board on the end, and it went check-check one last time. {A-Clubs} {4-Hearts} showed up on Heinz's side of the table, and the ace-high was good enough to win the pot.

The German has opened up the gap a bit again with a 40-million-chip lead on his opponent.
