Hands #83-86: Chop It Up

N��vel 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #83: Andrew Egan opened to 105,000 and won the antes and blinds.

Hand #84: Mike Kachan limped on the button and a raise from Neo Hoang in the big blind to 140,000 took it down.

Hand #85: Steve Gross made it 100,000 and Hoang called in the big blind. The flop was {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and when Hoang checked, Gross bet 105,000. Hoang called and the turn card was the {q-Diamonds} upon which he moved all in for 490,000. Gross eventually called and turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Hoang had the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and called for a black card. He got it - the {9-Spades} - for a chopped pot.

Hand #86: Gross opened for 100,000 and Viktor Skoldstedt three-bet to 170,000. Gross asked for a count before calling. The flop was {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and when Gross checked Skoldstedt bet 190,000 and won the pot.

Hands #77-82: Recovery Mode From Skoldstedt, Kachan Doubles

Hand #77: Viktor Skoldstedt moved all in from the small blind and enforced a fold from Neo Hoang.

Hand #78: Skoldsted raised to 105,000 and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #79: Skoldsted raised to 105,000 once again and found resistance in Andrew Egan, who three-bet to 225,000. Skoldstedt moved all in and Egan folded.

Hand #80: Eric Shanks raised out of the small blind and folded after Jeff Blenkarn moved all in.

Hand #81: Egan raised to 100,000 and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #82: The action folded to Steve Gross in the small blind and he moved all in. Mike Kachan peeked at his cards and then called immediately for 355,000.

Kachan: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Gross: {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop was a huge sweat for Kachan, but he doubled up after the board completed with the {5-Clubs} turn and the {A-Diamonds} river.

Hands #73-76: Doubles For Blenkarn and Egan

Hand #73: Mike Kachan moved all in and took it down.

Hand #74: Eric Shanks opened for 105,000 and Jeff Blenkarn moved all in for 275,000. The blinds folded and Shanks called with {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Blenkarn had {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. The board ran out {3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Blenkarn doubled up.

Hand #75: Shanks made it 105,000 and won the antes and blinds.

Hand #76: Andrew Egan opened for 100,000 and Steve Gross on the button eyed him up for a while before folding. Viktor Skoldstedt asked him how much he started with and raised to 170,000 from the big blind. Egan made the call and the flop was the {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Skoldstedt led out for 225,000 and Egan called.

The turn card was the {7-Clubs} and Skoldstedt now moved all in and was instantly called, Skoldstedt had {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} but Egan had hit top set with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Egan now doubled up.

Hand #72: The action folded to Richard Milne on the button and he put back on his sunglasses. The Scotsman then pushed his stack of 350,000 chips into the middle of the table and Andrew Egan went all in over the top with more chips. Eric Shanks folded his big blind and they flipped over their cards.

Hand #68: Gross opened for 85,000 and Skoldstedt called in the small blind. The flop {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} was checked and they saw the turn card {9-Hearts}. Skoldstedt bet 90,000 and Gross made the call. The river was the {q-Hearts} and Skoldstedt again led out now for 160,000. Gross made the call. Skoldstedt showed {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Gross was good with his {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Hands #57-61: Gross Pays Off Skoldstedt

Hand #57: Steve Gross raised to 80,000 and Viktor Skoldstedt called from two seats over. On the {2-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, both players checked. The {9-Spades} turn saw Gross check-calling 130,000 rather quickly and the {2-Spades} river completed the board.

Gross checked and then tanked for at least three minutes when Skoldstedt bet 200,000. He called and Skoldstedt showed {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} as winning hand.

Hand #58: Gross received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #59: Gross raised to 90,000 from the small blind and got the big blinds and antes.

Hand #60: Eric Shanks raised to 80,000 and scooped the pot without resistance.

Hand #61: Richard Milne moved all in from early position for 410,000 and got himself the blinds and antes.
