Welcome back to the 2023 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas Event #31: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Deep Stack. With an impressive 2,758 entries, the event generated a prize pool of $1,406,580 with the final 414 earning a piece.

The 122 remaining players will return to fight it out on the felt at 10 a.m. local time. They are all guaranteed at least $1,678, but will be eyeing that first-place prize of $194,155 and the coveted gold WSOP bracelet.

Troy Nowlin is the current chip leader with a massive stack of 2,200,000. Both Ruslan Nazarenko and Hassan Tahsildar will both take 1,860,000 into Day 2, tied for the second largest stacks. Another notable includes Jason Stockfish who amassed a fairly large stack of 1,450,000 in his hunt for the bracelet.

Play will resume in the Horseshoe on Level 23, at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante. The levels will be 30 minutes on Day 2 with a 15-minute break after every four levels with the dinner break yet to be determined. This is only a two-day event, so they will play until a winner is crowned.
