Jetten Shoves it In

Nvel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Peter Jetten only had 6,000 chips to return to on Day 2, and he didn't waste any time moving them into the pot. When the action folded to him in middle position, he shoved in for 5,900 with {Q-Spades} {7-Hearts}. From the small blind, Nicolas Jussot had missed the action, and he announced, "Seventeen hundred," as he dropped the matching amount into the pot.

"Floor!"

Jack Effel ruled that the 1,700 must remain in the pot, and Jussot had the option to call the remaining 4,200 or forfeit his chips. After some time, he elected to do the latter, and big blind Yves Lanvin made the quick call, tabling {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}.

Jetten couldn't find anything to sweat on board, and he and his queen-seven have been relegated to the rail.
