Here Comes Fleyshman

Dan Fleyshman seems to think he's playing a Shootout today. Walking past his table, we see that he's worked his starting stack of about 70,000 up over 200,000 here in the first few minutes, and there's not many more chips left between the other five seats at his table. His neighbor Peter Jetten started with six figures, but he's now down under 10,000 after a big clash with Fleyshman.

And just a moment ago, Fleyshman took out his other neighbor, Farzad Bonyadi in a battle of the blinds. It began with Alexander Rumeliotis opening to 1,600 from middle position, and Bonyadi flatted in the small blind. In the big, Fleyshman looked down at two queens and squeezed in a reraise to 5,800. That folded Rumeliotis, but Bonyadi moved all in over the top with {A-Spades} {10-Spades}, and Fleyshman put him to the test.

The flop brought a ten and two more spades for Bonyadi, but he could not get over the hump as the turn and river bricked off.

Fleyshman, America's youngest-ever CEO of a publicly traded company, finished in seventh place in the WSOPE Main Event in London last year, and the style he employs makes him a threat to win whenever he amasses a chip stack. You could certainly call 210,000 "a chip stack" right now, and Fleyshman's big lead sets him up well for the rest of the day.
